I'm really proud with natu. Mainly because there was a lack of natu subspecies around meaning I created these without any outside inspiration from someone elses work. I'm please that I came up with using different statues/art/idols for the different natu species as opposed to different bird species. I feel like if I did the latter, it wouldn't really be natu anymore. I feel a little iffy with the island natu's coloration though.
From left to right, top to bottom
#1: Eastern: Resides in the eastern hemisphere. Its feathers almost resemble a Buddha.
#2: Greek: Arguably the oldest of all Natu species. It's coloration possibly inspired the style of greek pottery.
#3 Western (standard): Resembles the Totem's found in the Americas. While they originate in the western hemisphere, some have been spotted in Johto.
#4 Island: This species of natu lives in a tropical environment. Its feathers closely resemble a tiki.
#5 Pharoh: Usually more proud than the standard calm natu. It's vibrant blue and gold plumage made it a favorite among royalty.

I find it funny that the pharaoh look like a shiny pidgey, this is so cute though! 😄
